WHERE Were You Harassed? is an inclusive, anonymous collection of location stories where sexual harassment took place. I began this project in 2017 amid the daily revelations about Harvey Weinstein and others. The project has around 560 stories. I did data analysis on the stories and found that HOME/HOUSE/MY HOUSE/BED/BEDROOM was the 2nd most common location so I thought this exhibition might be a good place to show the work (STREET was number one). Since COVID, I would bet that HOME is number one.

A location story can happen anywhere. A physical space (bedroom, street). A geographical spot (Paris, the countryside). Or other (a relative’s lap). Or a part of your body, if you identify that way.
