One of the German translations for the word home is Heim. Freud's term Unheimlich translates as strange Uncanny or Un-homely. This work explores the notion of interiority and isolation. It looks at our relationship with and memory of our own spaces, the house, the rooms we occupy, the objects with them and their function.
